I've "rescued" an old photograph of Leotta WALKER which was taken at the Hull's Studio in Fremont, Nebraska. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's with Leotta noted as just 6 months old at the time it was taken. In addition to her name and age, someone has written "from" and "to her Aunt Celia" and "when this picture was taken" and "Merry Christmas to all" and "B.A." on the back of the photograph. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following possible match in census records as follows: 1910 census of Fremont, NE: Arthur N. WALKER, age 40, married 20 years, born NE, parents born VT, a Real Estate Agent Almeda WALKER, wife, age 36, married 20 years, 3 children/3 living, born NE, parents born IL Florance WALKER, dau, age 19, born NE, a Dry Goods Sales Lady Leota WALKER, dau, age 17, born NE, an Electric Co. Bookkeeper Melvin WALKER, son, age 10, born NE I am hoping to locate someone from this WALKER Family so that this precious old photograph can be returned to the care of Leotta's family.
