Last evening, C. WALFROTH, wife and daughter, Miss Emma, departed for Kansas City, where they will secure rooms in the neighborhood of the Union station there, and will await until the soldiers from Camp Cody arrive on their way to Camp Merritt, N.J. where it is supposed they will go in the near future. Those who formerly departed from Camp Cody for the foreign field, passed through Kansas City, and were allowed to stop at that place for two hours. Carl WALFORTH [sic] who has been at Cody for a year, is expected to be among the soldiers and it is their intention to get to see their son and brother when he passes through if possible. They will have to watch every train but the reward of seeing him will be worth the trouble. We hope they will be successful.
