IRA STULL THIS AFTERNOON >From Wednesday’s Daily. The funeral of Mrs. Ira STULL was held this afternoon from the late home north of this city on the Platte bottom and was attended by a number of the friends and relatives. The services were in charge of Rev. H.G. MC CLUSKY, pastor of the Presbyterian church of this city. The body was laid to rest in the family lot in Oak Hill cemetery. Mrs. Stull has been rather poorly for some time and her condition become such that it was necessary to have taken to Omaha where she was operated on at the Presbyterian hospital, but she failed to rally from the operation and passed away Monday evening at 6o’clock. The body was brought to this city yesterday afternoon and conveyed to the home north of the city. She leaves to mourn her death, the husband and one child. Plattsmouth Journal, Monday, July 15, 1918 ANOTHER AMERICAN SOLDIER HERE >From Saturday’s Daily. Yesterday morning there arrived at the home of Ira STULL and wife, a little stranger [illegible] relationship to the happy parents, and showing loudly for American, and the Stars and Stripes. He was greeted with a happy smile from the father and the mother looked the pleasure from her glad eyes, and all are happy even the hired girl and doctor were glad the stork arrived. The little boy is feeling fine as is also the fond parents.
