Jason Hind's first Wife Mary Catherine (Oldham) Hinds is burried at Hemphill Cemetery in White County, IN The tombstone reads: HINDS CATHERINE, died 15 March 1855, 37 years, 2 months, and 22 days, Wife of Jason. A 20 month old child Elvina is also burried there. Jason married again a couple of years later. Jason Himes (Hinds) married Naomi Dawson in White County, IN on 29 Aug 1857.
