Not much happening on the Butler Co. GenWeb site. Activity has been low as school, crops, and the coming of fall busyness occupies many folks. The GenConnect forums are working well and nobody has complained about anything not working. The NEGenWeb coordinators and the County Coodinators held an annual Meet & Greet session a few weeks ago at Aurora, NE. From the humor and email after it was over it appears that all had a good time. Since I live in Michigan, I did not attend. Recently, three more chapters of the Andreas/Cutler 1882 history book were put online by the folks doing that project. Most NE counties have a link to that book which is on a UKan computer. I never heard back from the Veteran's Office in Butler Co. about my inquiry on grave lists, etc. of veterans. And I never heard back about the Read Twp. cemetery book which I understand exists. Does anyone on this list have a bibliography of Butler Co. references? That is, useful local books, etc. that we should be sharing the titles of. Searching is getting better and often works but maybe a short list of basic references should be publicized somehow.
