Thanks to all who sent church name/location information. On the basis of what I have received, I created a church page. You can see it at the "communities" link or directly. http://www.rootsweb.com/~nebutler/churches.html As items trickle in, I will refine it and try to organize it by denominations by town. There have been a couple of cemetery/church questions raised and I will try to fix either the church page or the cemetery page as I find out information. The USGS (GNIS) cemetery data only showed 6 churches in Butler Co. which is what started me on this track. I guess identifying existing cemetery ASSOCIATIONS is the next logical step--any ideas?
