They came to Rising City, Butler Co. about 1882 and Harriette died in 1885 of TB shortly after giving birth. The mother and child were buried together, where unknown. The children, all of whom were born in NY starting about 1870, were placed in different homes and the Home of the Friendless, an orphanage, in Lincoln, NE. Their names are: Leona, Maude, Walter, Sarah Rosella, Francis, Harriet, Edna, Arthur and Jessie. The surnames listed above are some of the married names. I hope someone can help.
