I have put this out before, but maybe someone new will see it. I am searching for anyone knowing of the George ZAHLER and Mary Jane Lapp ZAHLER family. I have copies of Mary's 1915 obituary and their 1913 Golden Anniversary article. There are many local names mentioned. George and Mary homesteaded in Reading Township in 1871, (near Rising City) moving to David City 1908. They had at least 8 childre. Sons Alfred and Francis ZAHLER stayed on the farm at least through 1915. Anything sound familiar? If so, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks!!! Paula Zahler Happyquilt@aol.com
