Rebecca (Holbrook) McMULLEN where are you? She was my gr-gr grandmother, b circa 1835 in Virginia. Her husband Patrick H. McMullen was born Nov 1, 1830 somewhere in Virginia, and died around Nov 15, 1883 in Seward County, NE. They lived in Eight Mile Grove Precinct, Cass County, NE, selling the farm there on Feb. 19, 1883. Their 9 children were: Mary Arizona McMullen, b July 31, 1862 in Cass County, m William Blackburn Spence on Aug. 31, 1883. They resided in Eight Mile Grove Precinct, Cass County Virginia "Jennie" McMullen, b 1864 in MT, married George Lowley (a county judge) Nov. 21, 1892 in Seward, NE Alice, b 1866 in Oregon, m Francis L. Hickenbotham on Sept. 28, 1889 in Seward, they resided in Friend, Saline County, NE Sara, b 1868 in Oregon Carrie, b 1870 in Oregon, m ? Jones Grace, b 1872 in Oregon Robert, b 1874 in Cass County, NE Maud, b 1876 in Cass County, NE Anna, b 1878 in Cass County, NE Patrick is buried in the Seward Cemetery along with daughters Mary, Jennie, and Carrie, son-in-law William Spence, and five grandchildren. I know that Rebecca and her 8 unmarried children were living in Seward according to the 1885 Nebraska State Census. I would love to know where she ended up. Any help greatly appreciated.
