(I think Boyd) Allen, (perhaps Jr.) b. ca. 1831 in OH; married 29 Dec 1853, Little York, Warren County, IL. He married Ann Elizabeth Preston (b. 28 Feb 1836 Cedarville, Greene County, OH; d. 17 Mar 1926 KEARNEY, BUFFALO COUNTY, NE.) They had Adolphus Marion Allen (b. ca. 1859 Little York, Warren County, IL). Adolphus had these siblings: William, Irving, James Boyd, Orpha, and ???. Ann Elizabeth Preston's parents were William Preston (b. ca. 1815 Greene County, OH; married 15 Apr 1835 Greene County, d. 17 Sep 1892 Stanwood, Cedar County, IA) and Rebecca Margaret Pollock (b. ca, 1819 Greene County, d.
