My grandfather, Frederick, and his brother William from Hanover, Germany homesteaded near Holbrook, Furnas Co., NE sometime after 1885. They were Missouri Synod Lutherans and belonged to a church out in the country. The church is gone now but the graveyard is still there. I am just starting my search into the family history. I am especially interested in finding a cousin who moved away after his father died at a young age. His father was my dad's brother. I think the brother's name was Edward. Hope to get back to NE one of these days to do some personal searching. I am also looking for my cousin, Gary, who was in Colorado the last I heard.
