There apparently was a cluster of families that went together from Connecticutt to Pennsylvania to Ohio to Wisconsin to Iowa and then to Custer County, Nebraska. Some detoured from Ohio to Michigan to Custer County. Prior to 1900, several of these families also went on down to Oklahoma Territory where they homesteaded.
