    1. Re: [NEBRRoots-L] migration
    2. Carol, In response to your recent email about the migration trails, I for one, do not consider it "litter." In fact in less than 24 hours I made a contact that I don't believe I would have made otherwise. It was based on a surname and migration trail that was sent out in one of the responses to the migration request. This connection is even more valuable as it deals with the ancestral trail of a female ancestor that I have had no other information than her name. As of yesterday, that brick wall has been removed. Not only do I have her parents and siblings, but I have a "fellow researcher" to team up with on this family line. This is an ancestor of an 1810 marriage into my main line that I desired to establish the maternal side of my tree. IMHO the migration pattern request played a significant part in the roles that our ancestors played in the development of Nebraska. Also, all of us have the option to use the "delete" key and the "unsubscribe" preference when we find this list is not one of our top reading sources for the day. Just my thoughts, Karen Lehn
