WELCOME TO THE NEBRASKA HERITAGE LIST A few members of the NEBRRoots-L genealogy list insisted there was no room for Nebraska trivia which was becoming increasingly popular with a large number of subscribers, and players of our Nebraska Trivia game which usually generates very interesting discussions. John McCoy and Barb Hruza realized the time had come to create another forum, ranging well beyond the scope of genealogy. This new discussion list was to be named NEBRHeritage-L, and we invited everyone interested in Nebraska history and life to participate. We have some very interesting discussions ongoing from time to time. Stories about current Nebraska topics, or mention of a recent Husker football game are all welcome on "Heritage," but our emphasis focuses primarily on Nebraska's rich historic past and the personalities of former times. The word 'Heritage' is defined as "something handed down from one's ancestors, or the past, as a characteristic, a culture, tradition, etc. Birthright."
