Hello, I received a note from a "cousin" who is planning to visit Lincoln, NE this summer and asked for help in finding the best places to research. All I could help with is the Nebraska Historical Society, which, I believe is still somewhere on the University of Nebraska campus. She states: "My mother's great grandparents left their daughter here and we've finally tracked them to Lincoln, Nebraska where they died in the 1920s. I had found them in the Lincoln, Nebraska city directories and then found the wife listed as a widow. So I know at least he died there. Several of their children were also at Lincoln at that time. Their name was BORNAMANN, William C. and Ida Alice. What we know there was never any communication between them and the daughter (my great grandmother) they left here. She was married at 15 and had 6 children with four surviving through adulthood and one alive today. " Where would she look for information regarding the above family? Thanks very much. Jean
