In one single stroke you do not have to put up with this list. Goodbye. Bill ListOwner -- Dear Carol, A couple of folk have approached me to say that you had come back on the list with a bit of a different attitude. If this is the situation, please allow me to say that you are welcome to re-subscribe to the list. I did not block this when I took my action [though it had looked like you had already unsubscribed yourself by the time I checked the list]. The list was responding to "Totally On Topic" list business. Obtaining information such as migration moves of our ancestors is exactly what our hobby is all about. The list is watched by more than one of us, though my name is on as ListOwner. Thus, if there appears to be too much "off topic" material or abuse in any other way we will deal with it. There were some 700 people on the list the other day and more are subbing every hour. Traffic will be high. If this is a problem for you I suggest that you subscribe to the Digest mode. In that way about 22 posts will be grouped together as one e-mail. Send your request to NEBRRoots-D-request@rootsweb.com with the single word subscribe typed on the first line and turn off any signatures. If you should have any need to contact the listowner use the listowner-NebrRoots-L@rootsweb.com and the message will get to me. Thank you, Bill ListOwner --
