    1. Re: [NEBRRoots-L] Ericson Lake and town
    2. Judy, According to my map, the town of Ericson is in southern Wheeler Co. where the Cedar River crosses Highway 91. If this turns out to be your family, please let me know as I have a large group picture (16 people of all ages) taken around the turn of the century of the Ericson family for whom the town is named. This was in some old pictures that belonged to my great-grandfather who homesteaded in the Erina Precinct of Garfield Co (then part of Wheeler Co). I would be glad to send you a .jpg file of the picture. Ericson the town and Ericson Lake were mentioned in her message. I am searching the Erickson/Ericson families. Could anyone tell me where the town of Ericson and the Lake might be located? Also how the two locations might have gotten their names. Most of the information I have on the family tell me that they actually came from Iowa and South Dakota BUT I have not been able to trace them back very far. Just hoping this might bring some information to aid me in my search. Thank you in advance. Judy >>
