In fact, they had ties to Burt Co. but we are not sure what those ties are. We don't know where they lived because there were 3 towns named Willowdale. Below is a query I wrote a few months back. : Looking for information about William E. DARLING and Esther (Nellie) CLOUGH. William was born Feb 4, 1850 in Maine. Nellie CLOUGH in born June 4, 1853 in N.Y. They married ca 1872, probably in Nebraska. They lived in Williwdale but there were 3 Willowdale's, in Antelope, Nemaha, and Pierce Co. A picture of the couple was taken in Lyons, NE and a cousin Anna Stanton, lived in Golden Spring. Lyons and Golden Spring are in Burt Co. and there are other DARLING and CLOGH families in Burt Co. They had 4 children, Herbert, b. May 1874, Ralph b. March 1876, Carl, b. Nov. 1887. and Leslie, b. Jan. 1883. If you have any additional info please let me know.
