G'day to you "Good Lifer" researchers out there, This list has grown to the size of four hundred thirty five subscribers. This varies daily by five to ten; as folk are constantly subbing and unsubbing. Though RootsWeb has many automatic messages to assist me in administrating the List, I would point out a couple of things. RootsWeb filters are doing a tremendous job of keeping "spam" from hitting us. If you should receive one you may forward it [including ALL of the header] to <abuse@rootsweb.com>. However, I usually catch them and do this. RootsWeb Lists do not accept html coding; thus your messages, if containing html coding, will not go to the group. They will come to me and also are returned to sender with a note explaining this. This list has been one of the most courteous lists I belong to. The other two are also Nebraska oriented; the County Coordinators list and the Nebraska Heritage/Trivia list. It is truly a pleasure to belong to such fine groups. This list is for the purpose of researching Nebraksa genealogy, however, a mild amount of chat has been allowed, so long as the thread doesn't continue too long and folk keep it "light" with no personal slams. If you do get a bit off topic would you be courteous enough to place the letters "TOT" at the beginning of your subject line, then others would know that your message is "Totally Off Topic" and could simply delete it if they don't wish to read it. That list receives posts concerning Nebraska Family History, as well as having an ongoing Nebraska Trivia game. My MOST WANTED this month is connections with Nebraska immigrants from the Netherlands.
