To answer Susan's question about Leo Baca's 7-volume reference, Czech Immigration Passengers, I have seen six of the volumes in the New York City Public Library. Other libraries with strong genealogical sections may have it It was useful, had many passengers listed. I found some of my ancestors. It is not so useful that you would want to own the book yourself. Try a big library in an area with a Czech population. There were 2 volumes devoted to Czechs who landed in New Orleans, 1 volume covering ghose landing 1907-1914 in Galveston, and 3 volumes for those arrriving in New York City: 1847-1869, 1870-1880 and 1881-1886. Have fun looking. Margaret
