Hello all; I am looking for any info on Owen White COTTON. Born 1838 in Michigan, served in the Union army in the civil war, rode with Gen Custer (for a while) and settled in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was living there in 1923, the last time that any folks in Mi heard from him. He married Ozella Elvis Haskins in 1865. Children; Laura Belle, b May 1866; Cora Lee b 1867, d 1876; Otis White b 1871 d 1876; Wm Alburger b 1874 d 1874; Herbert Haskins b 1879, lived in Omaha in 1923; Helen Ozella b 1880 married Rob't Brewster and was living in Des Moines in 1923. I guess what I really want to find out is when and where he died. Although any other info would be greatly appreciated. He is one of my Great uncles. One of his brothers was Jay F. Cotton, my ggrandfather.
