I have an 8 month old daughter. I bought one of those Mother's memory type books where it asks you all sorts of questions about your childhood and your life. It's hard for me to just write stuff down, but when I have a question, it's pretty easy. It's in an actual bound book. You can get these at Waldens or B. Dalton's, just about anywhere. They even have Dad's books and Grandparent's books, etc. I'm hoping that she'll someday enjoy the book. You can also just get a list of interview questions (I think Cyndi's list has a link to some) and then answer them on your computer in a nice font, print them out on nice paper, etc. My dad kept a diary when he was young and I am sure that will be something that his grandchildren will enjoy someday. He's really interested in family memories. He is currently making a project of scanning in all our family pictures and identifying everyone that he can.
