Mary is the daughter of WILLIAM NIXON and ELIZA COLLINS. Eliza was the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Allen) Collins, Margaret being the daughter of Colonel Ethan Allen (of historical fame). Some of Mary's siblings married into the MEGINESS family as well, as: Hannah, widow of Benjamin Meginess residing Pottawattamie Co; Sarah, wife of W.H. Meginess, residing in California. (The bio is actually for WILLIAM NIXON). SARAH E. WILSON REYNOLDS, wife of COLUMBUS REYNOLDS, married Sept 16, 1872, in Red Oak, Iowa. Sarah born Sullivan Co, Indiana.
