He married Matilda Nelson who came from Malme, Sweden they were married in Saunders County, Nebr. Oct.15, 1884. He passed away July 14, 1947 and she died Jan 22, 1962. Both are buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hebron, Nebr. They had 13 children, Joseph, Geahard, Ivar, Loren, Levi, Reuben, Gordon, Mabel, Edith, Naomi and Ruth. The other two are unknown.
