I'm jumping out of page sequence because someone needed the MILLER info, so if I duplicate this later, please forgive me. Page 400, J.W. MILLER, came from Rock Island Co, IL, to Iowa in 1885; b. Allegheny Co, Pennsylvania, 1842, son of Joseph B. Miller, who was a son of John Miller, a native of Ireland and an Orangeman. J.W. Miller's mother was Jane (McCall) Miller, b. Butler Co, PA, daughter of John McCall. J.W. Miller served in the Civil War and then spent one year in Madison County, Nebraska, where he homesteaded in 1873; but the grasshoppers being so destructive, and his being 40 miles from the railroad, he returned to Illinois. In 1885, he moved to Iowa. J.W. Miller married in 1867 to Martha Pearsall, b. Rock Island Co, IL, daughter of William C. and Jane (Ellingham) Pearsall, formerly of Steuben Co, NY. J.W. and Martha had children: Joseph, Jane, Martha, William, Emma, Luella. (Page 499) ROBERT MILLER (brother to J.W. Miller). Robert married in 1854 to Eleanor McKee, she b. Robert Miller resided in Pennsylvania until 1854, removing to Illinois until 1868 (with the exception of one year spent at Pike's Peak), then to Page Co, Iowa until 1871, when he moved to Thayer Co, Nebraska (then called Jefferson Co). He then returned to Iowa, then Missouri, and back to Iowa. Robert Miller and Eleanor had children: Mary Jane wife of George Fulton of Thayer Co, Nebraska; Eliza Belle wife of Samuel Bartle of Iowa; Joseph B. farming with his father; William John; James at home, and Robert at school.
