Barbara, Sterling is in southeast Nebraska, on state route 41, approximately 18 miles due east of US Hwy 77. My Nebraska map doesn't show county boundaries too clearly, but I believe Sterling is in Johnson County. The map symbol indicates Sterling is a town of less than 2500 people. That's about all I can tell you. Sorry I don't know any of the family you're asking about. Good luck in your search. --Jerry in Livermore, CA Barbara wrote: > > Does anyone know where Sterling was?
