Still seeking the ever elusive Harry A. Houston. He was born in Philadelphia PA sometime in the 1820-1830 range. At sometime the title of Captain was given to him, for what I have no clue. In 1853 he married Elizabeth Jane Irwin. From what I can tell he lived in Page County IA for awhile and then in the 1870's would move to Fremont County IA. Eventually he ends up in Buffalo County NE. I recieved an article on his son Charles recently, and it states that Harry was an editorialist for newspapers in Kansas, Wisconsin, Nebraska and Iowa. He also worked in the Home office in Sidney Iowa. With all this I still can't find the elusive Harry, he was never around for census takers either. According to my grandmother Harry was related to General Sam Houston, either as a nephew or a cousin. To this point she has been right on every account, so need to find a tie into him. HELP PLEASE.
