Hi, from Pennsylvania -- I am researching a Ransom family that spread west, including MI in the 1870 - 90 period. Noticed the name Everett Ransom Peterson.. Do you know anything about the source of the middle name- Ransom.? Sometimes just a little lead helps. Could his grandmother have been a Ransom??? Will appreciate any info you might have on this.
