It is Sanborn, not Sandborn. Many libraries have them, especially state historical societies. When I worked in an insurance office in Iowa City, IA, we subscribed to this service. A person from the company would arrive in our office about once a year with little pieces of paper and past pot in hand and update the maps. They will only be for fair sized cities. ---------- > From: mona_houser@juno.com > To: NEBRRoots-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: Sandborn Fire insurance maps > Date: Tuesday, September 08, 1998 6:45 AM > > Hi, > > Has anyone heard of these Sandborn Fire insurance maps?
