    1. Re: Native American Research
    2. If you are interested in Native American Research from the Nebraska area, W. Dale Clark Library has several reels of N.A. census in their genealogy collection, as well as books and films on a variety of tribes. You can get a list of things available mailed to you by e-mailing: Heenan@omaha.lib.ne.us. Again, the library staff isn't able to do extensive research for anyone. If you can't make it into Omaha yourself, by contacting G.O.G.S., P.O. Box 4011, Omaha, NE 68104, you can find experienced volunteers who do research for a $10/hr contribution to the Genealogical Society. (They're working on putting in all of the released federal censuses--now have about 1/3--you could ask Tom for a list of the census reels at the same time you ask for the N.A. listings.) Karen
