Hi All... My ggg-grandfather is buried in Hall County, NE, or so I think he is. I have not been able to find an obituary of his death, and he's not in the platting of the cemetery. Could it be that, even though he died here, he was buried somewhere else? And maybe the stone that just gives his name and unit, without dates, was placed there for a memorial? He died here in 1900 but had lived for 29 years, 1869-1898, in Kansas. Would the Veteran's Administration have records of Civil War monuments? Anyone have any ideas? Kaylynn audriana@ginetworks.com
