Forwarded with permission >>For any of you who might be interested: Annual Lincoln Family History Center Spring Genealogy Classes -- Thursday nights 7-8 pm at the LDS Church, 3000 Old Cheney Rd. This series of classes actually began the first week of March, but anyone can still register for the following remaining classes by calling The FHCenter -- 423-4561 -- during their open hours (Tues 10-4 pm and 6-9 pm, Wed-Thurs 10-2 pm and 6-9 pm, Sat 10-4 pm). I was told today that they still have room for more attendees. $3.00 materials fee. Enter through north door. April 1 -- Courthouse Records April 8 -- Military Records April 15 -- Church Records April 22 -- Correspondence/Internet April 29 -- Getting Organized May 6 -- Using The LDS Library/Internet and possibly on more class in May on Immigration and Emigration Records that was to have been held in March. If you are acquainted with other Lincoln-Lancaster County Genealogical Society members who do not have an e-mail address published in our current membership directory -- or new members who have joined within the last few months -- and if you think they would be interested -- please let them know about the April 1st class on "Courthouse Records" that is scheduled for tomorrow night, The rest of the class schedule will be published in the next LLCGS newsletter.
