Tombstone photos of Buckskin Charlie White (AKA John Harnett Jr.) and his second wife Louise A. Vosburgh are now posted on my family genealogy site. He lived in various parts of Nebraska, mainly in Hamilton & York Counties. His last years were spent in Colorado Springs, CO where he is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery. There is also a Buckskin Charlie Park named after him in Colorado. His daughter Lettie White married into the Owen family. Lettie's husband Levi Owen was the nephew of my G-grandmother Ellen Josephine Owen Harrison of Memphis, Saunders County, Nebraska.
