Today at the class in Omaha, the new book/calendar 365+1 Genealogy Tips was introduced. It's how-to tips and hints to make searching easier, or more effective on a wide variety of research topics. It's being sponsored by the Greater Omaha Genealogical Society and all moneys made beyond the cost of publication will be used to buy more materials for the genealogy department at the W. Dale Clark Library. It's the size of a quarter page, spiral bound and goes through half the year, then turns over and comes back through the second half of the year, with a tip for each day--including leap year which is why the "plus one." No year is mentioned so that it is useable any year. If you are possibly interested in getting a copy, you can contact me or Mavmom@aol.com about price & postage/handling. If you live in the Omaha area, we can set up an appointment to deliver to you. The books can also be purchased at a G.O.G.S. meeting (3rd Wednesdays at New Cassel Retirement Center), or at one of the genealogy classes on 3rd Saturdays at the Mormon Trail Center. (We're hoping for a runaway genealogy best seller, so we can get lots more materials for the genealogy department.) Karen
