As a first request on this list am searching for any information on the German (surname) family in Richardson County, NE - 1870's - Samuel Germain (changed spelling of his name when him & brother Abel had a fight) - their mother Mary "Polly" German buried near Athens in 1878 but no stone so unable to get further information .. Samuel stayed in Nebraska .. Abel German moved to Crab Orchard, NE - a child buried there - before he moved to Kansas.
