One thing to remember is that many of the newspapers only have modern obits on their web sites. While sometimes these may fill in a few holes on recent family members that we may have never been able to find, lots of us still struggle to find the earlier ones...and they may not have an obit, or have a 2-3 liner that doesn't tell us much more than we already knew.
