    3. My great grandmother, Clarissa Elvira Hollingsworth is said to be buried somewhere in Nebraska, but I do not know where. The only info I have is that when my grandfather was young (6-16) they lived on the "edge of an indian reservation". He recounted the time that one day a group of indians came by and "bartered" to trade for his dog. His dad traded the dog, but when a neighbor happened by and told them that the indians probabaly wanted the dog for food, they raced after the group and got the dog back. He also told about his older brothers burying their dad up to his neck in the sand "just like the indians did to their enemies". Clarissa was born in Iowa in 1852 and grandpa was born in Iowa in 1880, so they were in Nebraska in the period 1886 - (?) . Grandpa's fathers name was Benjamin Franklin Hollingsworth. Why they moved to Nebraska is unknown. Clarissa was a Clark before they married. Any help would be appreciated.
