This book is the 1909 Souviner Book for the 50th Anniversary of the Omaha Police Department. Two thoughts come to mind, the great Bobby hats that the police wore back then, I thought they were only in England, and the fact that when I did the ads, it was apparent that there were at least 2-3 saloons or liquor dealers for every person in the city of Omaha. There are over 1000 people listed in the all name index that I created. I tried to capture any name that appeared in the ads or articles or images captions that might be a clue for you in your research. Working on several other books while still waiting for the repair surgeries on shoulders from car wreck back in April...a friedn suggested that I now pull a trailer with a 20 foot tongue and then place the bullseye on the trailer and I would not be hit that way.
