I had my first experience with the need to retrieve a current online obituary of a relative from the Omaha World-Herald. I am appalled! I can not believe in this day and age that a newspaper would report a death and not even give the date, or even the day, the woman died! One relative had told me she died Sunday, another had told me she died Monday. I was counting on the obituary to give me the right date for my family files. If we can't even get a date in 2001, it's no wonder we have so much trouble finding records on our ancestors! Sue Dotson [email protected]
