    1. RE: [NEBRRoots] WWI Draft Registration Cards
    2. Sharon, No specific form needed to order copies of WW1 draft cards from NARA. In your letter be sure to say you want copy(s) of the WW1 Draft Application Cards. Include the name of your ancestor, his race, the state and county where he lived. In your letter be sure to say you want a copy of the front and back of the card. Be sure to send a SASE for the return of the copies. The cost is 50 cents - 25 cents for the front and 25 cents for the back. If you only want one copy, send a buck and say the difference is to be given to the Friends of the Archives for all the work they did for us transferring all the information and then organizing it by county and state. I have a web page about ordering copies of WW I draft registration forms: http://www.wathenadesigns.com/Lincoln/wwi_records.html When you send a request, The NARA - Atlanta Branch will acknowledge whether they have the records you are requesting by sending a letter indicating such, along with information on the cost of obtaining a copy. The last time I ordered copies, which was about a year ago, the cost was $10 for copies of the draft registration, substanitially more than 25 cents per page.
