This does not relate to any surname that I am researching personally. Nancy Robert H. Hostettler of Long Beach, retired farmer and brother of Arnold H. Hostettler, 655 El Morado court, died last evening at a Los Angeles hospital, following an illness of nearly two years' duration at the age of 74 years. A native of Pekin, Ill., Mr. Hostettler came to California from Nebraska 13 years ago. In his youth he was a member of the Mennonite church but later affiliated with the Presbyterian denomination at Aurora, Neb. Surviving besides the Ontario brother are two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Gelvin, Stewart, Neb., and Mrs. Fred Runge, Sydney, Neb.; a son, Royal, Denver, Colo.; two sisters, Mrs. S. E. Nafziger, Bloomington, Ill., and Mrs. Harry Moses, Guernsey, Wyo.; a second brother, Otto, North Platte, Neb., and six grandchildren. He had many friends in the West End, where he had been a frequent visitor. Funeral arrangements in charge of the Stone mortuary are delayed to await arrival of the son and daughter.
