    3. Actually, it seems more and more that you're lucky just to find an obituary in the Omaha World-Herald. Many more people are listing an obit only one day instead of the 2-3 days they used to. And a number of families don't put one in anymore because of the cost. So, apparently the cost has gotten rather high. People generally don't put the deceased's address in the obit unless they have someone stay at the house so it isn't robbed during the funeral. Funeral homes probably figure it's easier for people to figure out who the deceased is in the obit from their age rather than have them calculate the age or have the family pay the extra expense of including both the date of death and age. With the Omaha World-Herald being the only daily newspaper in town, then it can charge what it wants without worrying about competition. And, they do NOT give that little bit of space away by any means. I would think the date is more important to include than the age. Sue Dotson [email protected] more from the Web. FREE MSN Explorer download : http://explorer.msn.com
