    2. Sharon
    3. Hi, If someone on this list could help me I would be really greatful. I am looking for the cemetery where my husbands g-grandmother, Josephine Read is buried. We think she died about 2 weeks after the birth of her third child, which was 7/25/1892, and at the time, the family was living in Republican City, Harlan County, Nebraska. She and her husband, Chester, may have lived in Alma, Nebraska also. Is there a index of cemetaries for Harlan County....or a genealogical or historical society....would appreciate any help.... Thanks Sharon

It should give you a list of all the features in Nebraska with that particular name. Then maybe you can narrow it down from there. http://www-nmd.usgs.gov/www/gnis/gnisform.html Connie

    1. Re: [NEBRRoots-L] Township question
    2. Hi Vickie, If you don't get a better answer, here's an idea. Go to the Buffalo Co. site <www.rootsweb.com/~nebuffal/>, to the Links page, and click on the Features link. That will take you to a gnis site for Buffalo Co. But from there, I think you can get to a "search" button where you can put in the name of the feature, and it will give you the locations of everything with that name. At least it's worth a try if you are desperate enough. 1. [NEBRRoots-L] Archives of List messages
    2. I've been subscribed to this list for about a year now, and have been saving many messages for future reference. I'm wondering whether or not there is an archive of all the messages at a web site somewhere for this very purpose, so that I don't have to fill my hard disk with message that I may never need again, without fear of losing some information that I don't know I need today? Thanks Gary Swartzleonard San Jose, CA
