He married (1) REBECCA BROWN Abt. 1882 in Douglas County, NE. She was born Abt. 1861 in Richland Township, NE or Canada, and died Bef. 1896 in ? Elk City, NE?. He married (2) AMANDA KRUPP July 23, 1896 in Waterloo, NE. She was born Abt. 1877 in Kansas City, MO. Children of NEHEMIAH MELTON and REBECCA BROWN are: i. ADDIE MADER3 MELTON, b. June 24, 1882. ii. NANCY MELTON, b. 1884; m. CORDER HARRINGTON, March 19, 1903; b. 1871. iii. MYER M. MELTON, b. September 03, 1888, Valley, Douglas County, NE.
