Could someone look up the 1880 Census in NE. for any Van Pelt families. Don't know what county my husband ggrandmother was born in. Her name was Emily May Van Pelt, she would of been around 9 to 11 years old in 1880. She married Charles Bell and had at least one son named Harry Edgar Bell in 1889 in IA. Would appreciate any help.
