Would you mind checking for me in Chadron, Dawes Cty, NE for John W. Ricedorff and wife, Elizabeth? There should be at least two children. I am especially interested in any kind of information on the child named Isabelle. Audrey
I only find 4 Sherman names in USA none in NE. Found one in IA but had wrong name for wife, her name was Ida, found one in KS he is in Fort Riley and he was from MI, born jan 1879, was actually born in OH, he lists his parents place of birth as unknown. Another found in Minnesota born nov 1871, single born in IA, father Vermont mother Canadian. Last one found in IN is only 16 and living with a mother that had remarried and so had a different last name. If your Sherman was moving or living with his wife with his parents or a brother or someone with same last name he would not show up in index making it harder to find him.
