Olava arrived in Boston on 1 April 1909 on the "S/S Invernia", indexed as Olava GANSEL. 2. 15 April 1910 Census - she was living in Cathay, Wells, North Dakota with her sister and brother-in-law, again indexed as Olava GANSEL. I am not able to find any trace of her after 1910 Census. Her sister was Malene/Malina GEDROSE, who died 30 August 1915 and is shown as buried in the Wells County Cemetery Inscriptions on page 124, along with her husband Gabriel GEDROSE and several of her children from both her marriages. Malene's children and grandchildren's surnames were - JAASUND/JOSUND, STOKKE, STOKES, SKADBERG, BREKKTO/BRECTO, GJERDAAS/GEDROSE. All the information I have on Olava seems to indicate she died in North Dakota and I would think it likely that she is buried near her sister and family. Any information is most welcome. Thank you.
