No services have been planned at this time. Interment has yet to be determined. She is survived by her son, Orville Hawks Jr., Sykeston; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Jim Hagel, Excelsior Springs, Mo. Bryan, age 86, of Harvey, ND, died Saturday, April 9, 2011, at St. Aloisius Nursing Home in Harvey. Florence Eva Port was born June 28, 1924, in Kansas City, Missouri. She served 2 years in the US Army as a clerk typist, and was Honorably Discharged in 1945. Florence had worked many years as a technician in a photo lab, and later as a security guard with the Pinkerton Company. She moved from Excelsior Springs, MO, to Fessenden, ND, in 2009. She later entered St. Aloisius Nursing Home in Harvey. Florence is survived by her son Orville Lee (Maurine) Hawks, Jr., of Sykeston, ND; 3 grandchldren: Cindra J. Hagelie, Brett L. Hawks, and Vance L. Hawks; 5 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Jim Hagel, Excelsior Springs, MO.
