Born January 30, 1921 in Heimdal, North Dakota. Preceded in death by parents, Otto and Nella Bergsgaard and brothers, Lloyd, Randall and Woodrow. Survived by beloved husband of 54 years, Donald W.; son, Ronald (PJ); daughters, Donna (Dennis) Daniels, Bette (Stuart) Braem, and Candace Buckman; five granddaughters; three step-grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Educated in the North Dakota school system. Moved to St. Paul, Minnesota and married Don, a colleague in the First Bank System, where she worked as an executive secretary. Raised four children; active in PTA; avid golfer and bowler. Active member of Bethel Lutheran Church for over 45 years and served in many vital capacities there. Ever intelligent, witty, inventive, proud of her Norwegian heritage, with a constant twinkle in her eye. Funeral services were held Saturday, February 23, 2002 at Bethel Lutheran Church.
