It came to an old email account that I do not use much anymore as I have had to change things because of a credit card theft. I appreciate the information. I don't think that there have been any Thurston's in Heaton since the late 1940's. My great grandfather, Will Thurston, died in 1950. They were charter members of the Heaton Congregational Church. I know there would possibly be marriage records for their daughters, Vivian and Ruth Thurston there. I suspect there would be some records of Will and Rose Thurston being Charter Members and she was the church clerk for a long time. I am not sure what would be there in the courthouse. I would love some historical information on Heaton and if anyone knew where the Thurston farm used to be, but don't know if anyone would know that anymore.
